Mrs. Michelle Gutzwiler
Michelle earned her degrees in Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, and Biology from Washington State University. She taught Agriculture and was the FFA advisor at Eastmont High School for two years, shortly after graduating from college. Since 2011, Michelle has taught multiple grade levels at St. Joseph Catholic School Wenatchee. Her favorite subjects to teach are science and math, with a focus on how these areas connect to daily life. Michelle is inspired to serve at St. Joes because, “I love teaching the kids and working with their families. Working with the team here at the school and church is a dream. Our school team has really become a place of understanding, creativity, support, and friendship. All of my fellow teachers and school workers are in my prayers every night, and I know that we will get through anything together to further the mission of our school.” Michelle has also served as the Director of Religious Education for St Joseph Catholic Church and is currently serving through her musical involvement.
Mrs. Gutzwiler's background in science and technology, combined with her strong foundation in arts and religion, will provide our students with a well-rounded educational experience. We are excited to see how she will incorporate these disciplines into her teaching methods, and we look forward to the innovative and collaborative projects she will develop as STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) teacher.
We believe that Mrs. Gutzwiler's enthusiasm for STREAM education will inspire our students to explore new ideas and challenge themselves academically. We are confident that under her guidance, our students will develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in today's ever-changing world.
Thank you, Mrs. Gutzwiler, for being an integral part of our team!
