Happy New Year!

I pray that you have had a beautiful Christmas and that the new year brings an abundance of peace, joy, and opportunity to share God’s love in all that you do. Many exciting things have happened over the 2023 year that I am very grateful for. We continue to celebrate all of our dedicated clergy, faculty, staff, families, and students, and their commitment to the mission of the school. We are ever grateful for the time and expertise that is offered by all of our dedicated teams of people. Thank you for all that you do! One of the most exciting developments this year has been gaining the opportunity to add 6th grade to St. Joe’s in the 2024-25 school year, with the intent of adding 7th and 8th over the following two years! We are overjoyed for this opportunity and look forward to this adventure. As we prepare and plan for this addition, we would like to involve all stakeholders in the development process. We invite the community to a presentation that will include middle school visioning and long range budget methodology and projections on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the school gym. We hope to see you there! Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is open! Tuition rates can be found HERE. Current families will have priority enrollment until February 1, 2024 and will receive an early bird discount of $50 per child if enrolled by January 31, 2024 (new 3-year-old preschool students can enroll now as well). We will open enrollment to new families on February 1, 2024. New families are encouraged to apply now and schedule a tour of the school and meeting with administration. Preschool and kindergarten are filling up quickly this year. Tuition assistance applications are now being accepted; we urge all families in need of financial support to apply HERE. It is important for us to have enrollment as set as possible, as early as possible, in order to best plan, staff, and budget for the 2024-25 school year. Please reach out with any questions you may have in this area.

The annual Have-a-Heart Auction is fast approaching, and we need your help in making it as successful as possible. Please remember to procure items for the auction and sign up to help in some way. Many hands make light work! We are thankful for our auction leadership and would like to invite new leaders to step up to take on several chair positions in the 2024-25 school year. It is a great opportunity to serve and learn alongside our skilled leaders this year in order to take on leading the position next year. Please reach out for more information, and please join us at the next auction meeting on Monday, January 8th, at 6:00 pm at the school.

Catholic Schools Week will kick off on Sunday, January 28th, with a school-led Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wenatchee. The week will be filled with celebratory events! Stay tuned for a detailed schedule. Please feel free to reach out to me with any great ideas or questions that you may have.
