Ms. Samantha Ocampo
3er Grado
St. Joseph Catholic School is excited to welcome Samantha Ocampo as our new third grade teacher. Graduating in 2022 from Washington State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Middle-Level Math Endorsement, Samantha recently completed her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction in January 2024. She has two years of teaching experience in 5th & 6th grade at @wenatcheeschools, and has also been involved in coaching Math is Cool and Girls on the Run.
Ms. Ocampo’s passion for teaching Math stems from a desire to help students understand the underlying concepts and make learning fun and interactive. By developing hands-on activities and incorporating real-life scenarios, Samantha aims to create engaging learning experiences. She prioritizes building strong student relationships by focusing on social-emotional learning to foster connections and understanding.
Fuera del aula, a Samantha le gusta leer, saborear cafés helados, estar al aire libre, acampar, pasear y disfrutar de momentos con amigos y familiares. Estamos muy contentos de tener una educadora tan dedicada y apasionada como parte de nuestro equipo. ¡Bienvenida a tercer grado, Samantha!
